I had no idea what to expect when coming to visit my uncle in the Middle East. The past 6 days have been incredible! We have done hikes through canyons while walking through the creek the whole time, been to Petra (which is amazing), and gone to the Dead Sea. We did a two-day tour of Wadi Rum where we went on 4x4 tours through the desert getting to see incredible views throughout the day. On our first day of the tour, we found wild camels and learned some history of the area. We saw Ancient inscriptions on walls and so many other cool things. The night we were spending there we got to star gaze. They showed us the different consolations in the sky. we took the truck about an hour further into the desert to get away from any slight light sources and it was incredible to be able to see the Milky Way and all of the dust in space with your bare eyes. Overall one of the coolest experiences, I have ever had. With very limited time here I was sure to enjoy every second of it before I headed to my last stop Egypt.
